Aspen Ideas Festival

We are thrilled to bring the BEL framework to one of the country’s premier gatherings of leaders, creators, and innovators: the Aspen Ideas Festival.

BEL’s panel is born out of this year’s festival theme: independence. Who has it, who’s fighting for it, and how do we build it together? 

For more than a century, film has been telling stories that bring us together. As America turns 250 and the distances between us seem harder to cross, our most powerful storytellers are reckoning with what cinema owes — and offers — the country. We will hear filmmakers reflect on the craft and conscience behind storytelling that connects.

For those attending the festival, join us on Wednesday, July 1st (10:35 AM – 11:25 AM MDT) at the Paepcke Auditorium for a high-profile panel moderated by Steven Olikara: Building Bridges at the Box Office.

Steven will be joined by a panel of industry veterans:

• Brian Grazer: Academy-Award-winning producer (A Beautiful Mind, Apollo 13).
• Joshua Seftel: Oscar-winning filmmaker (All The Empty Rooms)
• Christina Voros: Acclaimed director and cinematographer (The Madison, Yellowstone).
